At St Nicholas we have a dedicated and experienced team who, with the support of our governors, ensure that St Nicholas is a happy, vibrant and thriving school where children Learn, Achieve and Grow, Together.
Through our bespoke Global Explorer Curriculum we are committed to educating the ‘whole child’ and value every child for their unique gifts. We provide a safe environment to promote their development academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We aim to make learning fun, exciting and purposeful providing memorable experiences which ignite curiosity, inspire ambition and build confidence.

Fantastic to see so many parents at our Year 3 and 4 and our Year 6 information evenings tonight. We covered topics from Friendship to online safety, times table practice to transition to secondary schools. Slides will be sent out on Arbor later this week for those who weren't able to make it.

All families are invited to join us for our first Celebration worship of the term tomorrow- Friday 4th September at 14:40 in the school hall. This will now be a regular open worship for all parents and families to be able to join us each week. #wearespiritual

3 days to go until we welcome families old and new back to St Nicholas, Porton for the start of another school year. We have been busy getting the school ready for you and can't wait to see you all on Tuesday morning.

A beautiful Leavers Service for Year 6 this morning. Thank you to our Year 6 families for joining us and to Mrs Perry and Miss Chloe for the amazing cake
A fantastic end to the year with our annual performance poetry competition. All classes performed a poem to the school and 3 children won prizes for the most expressive individual performances. Thank you to the librarians who supported the judging and to Miss Pistell for organising. What is your favourite poem? #WeAreAspirational #stnicholasporton
